This image is timeless. I can’t tell you if it was taken yesterday, or 50 years ago. Though I guess 50 years ago, based on the autos.
It’s something that I try to strive for in my photography, but I imagine that I often fail. Too often modern architecture or fashion steal the focus of an image.
The photo-a-day project does continue, even though I’ve not updated it recently. Let’s call it performance anxiety after my photos were featured on DCist a few weeks back.
